background / biography
Musically i got into electronic dance music (EDM) in the 1980's listening to 'Afrika Bamabataa' and the 'Electro' series of albums. From their it was onto the Acid house Scene and the Rave scene of the UK. attending parties put on by Amnesia House, Fantazia, Perception, Pandemonium, Hacienda, Shelleys etc etc. It was at these Raves that really got me into the music and DJin. By 1992 i was having a shot on my mates decks and holding small parties at various friends houses. i really couldnt DJ back then and had no knowledge of how to mix 2 records together. As time went by though i gradually picked up the art of mixing vinyls, but was more of a hobby than anything serious. As the years passed i decided i wanted to head in the direction of getting myself out and about more, playing at clubs and hopefully get the chance tp play bigger venues/events. The past few years have seen things change for the better, getting various bookings at a few club events as well running a couple of my own nights which went successfully. Also playing at various free parties in the UK, just for the love of the music i guess 
Having also spent time studying for a music diploma which i passed successfully 2 years ago at Confetti Studio's in Nottingham. Also had my hand in a little Production which im hoping to expand on in the next couple of years and hoping get something out there that im happy with.
My main love on the decks is for Oldskool Hardcore 91-93 but will play DnB, Trance, Techno, Hardcore, Acid etc etc whenever im not spinning Vinyls.
The Decks i use at present are the Vestax PDX2000 and i also use Serato which has enabled me to make the change-over into Digital without losing the Vinyl touch.
